Why we ask for your donation

PENHA as a volunteer organisation is very much depending on the donations of donor organisations and individuals.
PENHA is known for spending a minimum on administrative and other operational costs. And we make sure that most of the money is diverted directly into action at field level.

We work very closely with the pastoralist communities and have established personal bonds with most of them.
We listen - and sometimes it is difficult to tell the pastoralists that we cannot meet their hopes on all aspects because we are lacking the funds.

Please donate so we can continue our work that makes a positive difference for pastoralists and the communities and countries they are living in !

What will your donation be used for ?

You have the choice !

You might be interested in a specific country we operate in or in a specific project/activity in the region you would like to support. In this case the project would mostly be used within the objectives of an ongoing project. Themoney could for example be used to expand training, education and product delivery for more pastoralists

You may want to call in and ask in which area we would need additional funds the most or support our head office operations for a smoothe coordination.

You might prefer donations in kind instead. Maybe you have a computer, lap top, printer, fax machine, science books or similiar that you would like to donate to our country offices or a pastoralist association in the region.

Making a donation

You can donate via bank transfer, cheque or the Internet by using the credit card.

Via bank transfer: Please call our head office on 020 7242 0202 (inside the UK) or +44 20 7242 0202 (from anywhere else) or send us a fax to +44 (0)20 7404 6778 to ask for our bank details. The bank is UK based and any donations from outside the UK would be charged a transaction fee by their bank.

Via cheque: Please send your cheque to our head office stating a reference on how the money should be used. Send your cheque to:
