Local church supports women's groups in Uganda

The Brentwood United Reformed Church presented a cheque for £3,685.95 to PENHA to buy sewing machines for pastoralist women's group in Ssembabule.

 
At a service in February, the Rev. Trevor Jamison presented the cheque to Zeremariam Fre, PENHA's Executive Director. The purpose is to purchase a total of 15 sewing machines along with a few knitting machines. In addition, PENHA's basic business training package will assist the women in their small business actiivities, both sewing as well as small scale grop cultivation and milk processing.
