Despite the problems and challenges pastoralists are facing in the Horn of Africa, they have a strong culture with colour and beauty and reside in an areas which also has great beauty in the scenery and the animals.

This page leads to a page with a number of paintings by an Ethiopian artist, Solomon Zemede Habte Mariam, who has painted many of his art works about the pastoralists in the southern part of Ethiopia.
